I have a complex balance of feminine and masculine within myself. I am a feminine embodiment coach, but I also have a lot of masculine traits within me that make what I do successful. I get goals and tasks, I have a tendency toward logistics coordination for events, and don’t even get me started on planning out my content for Mindful March. But these masculine skills complement and pair wonderfully with my feminine skills of intuition, empathy and creativity.
Some of the ways I would recommend you practice utilizing a healthy form of masculine traits are; setting boundaries, taking risks, and doing what you’re over thinking about. You don’t need to invest 100k into the stock market without research or sell off your house to move out of the country on a whim, but start by taking some steps to carve out more individual identity with a foundation of action. Send that email to your boss about a promotion, apply for a new job, ask out the person you’re crushing on. Take action!
Working with masculine energy doesn’t mean you need to transform overnight into an alpha male, it means bringing action into your life. Healthy masculinity isn’t about enforcing your will, it’s about taking responsibility for your own thoughts and how you act upon them.
